Mission Work
Background and the Visionary
Pastor Florence is an indigenous African, living in the United Kingdom for most of her life.
She first visited Timisoara, in Romania during her Theological training in July 2002 with the team from the Theological training College she was attending. They went on a mission trip to Timisoara, which was part of her study for a Diploma in Theology.
She was frightened and deeply affected by what she saw as the aftermath of communist regime. The physical and spiritual need was evident in the country of Romania. This experience changed Pastor Florence for ever. Even though it was horrific, the experience opened an avenue for her, and she discovered what the Lord was calling her to do in the ministry.
This served as the platform upon which the Lord laid on her heart to cultivate a passion for mission to touch people's lives. It drove her to engage with displaced residents, especially those living on the streets, under the bridges and inside the holes and in local parks. This desire grew more intense during her degree programme, and on graduation, Pastor Florence decided to pursue this passion and return to Timisoara.
Following many years to the City of Timisoara city, Pastor Florence started her mission work,in Timisoara, Romania, she assisted with one ministry, The Bethesda Ministries, Timisoara, led by Reverend Triaian Lazea whose passion is to care for the poor and orphans in the community of Timisoara.
Today a Church premises has been build where the street and poor people of the city meet to have fellowship and eat. Rev Triaian Lazea of Bethesda Ministries is the Senior Pastor and overseer of the work and till today he is passionate to care for the needy and homeless. We as Ambassadors for Christ Mission & Pastor Chris, a colleague of Pastor Florence raised funds from the United Kingdom to support the Project of the building.
From then Rev Florence has been totally given to Mission Work. She has in the last 10 years been taking the Gospel to other nations e.g Ireland, Verona- Italy and recently in the last 5 years the Lord has been sending her to Uganda and India.
In Uganda, her ministry, the Ambassadors for Christ Mission has supported the local Church in Mbale,(eastern Uganda). They had raised money, shipped items of clothes, shoes for children, and stuff to support orphans whose parents had died of Aids.
The Ambassadors for Christ Mission has a link with Pastor Annet, the Senior and founding pastor of Rivers of Life Healing Ministry, in Mbale, East Uganda.
Some members of Ambassadors for Christ Mission including Pastor Florence, for the past 3 years have been sponsoring Children whose parents had died of Aids.
In the last 5 years, Pastor Florence has taken the gospel to Chennai, South India, where she has visited a leper colony, gypsy community, ministered to them and supported the local ministers.
Rev. Florence has just returned from India where she ministered and ordained men and women for the work of the Ministry.
The Ministry of The Ambassadors for Christ Mission where Rev Florence served as Senior Pastor, is making an impact all over the world, taking the gospel to the lost.
Here in the United kingdom the ministry endeavors to reach out and support the needy. When the ministry was in West London, Shepherds Bush, in Bromley, they reached out to the poor; holding programs to distribute food to the street people living in Shepherds Park.
The Ambassador for Christ Mission is committed to take the Gospel of Christ to all mankind: to nations, countries, communities and everywhere.
The Ambassadors for Christ Mission is committed to fulfill the great commission: "Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel [of our Lord Jesus Christ] to all creation". (Matthew 28:19)
